FYUP Rollback was not possible without the students...

What most intellectuals will fail to explain to you is the spirit of youth. Not because they are not qualified enough to dote upon it but because it can only be experienced. We are the youth. We are the future. Leaders in the past have been able to do wonders channeling the power of a united and young IndiaBhagat Singh was one such leader. His story inspires the rest of us! We have achieved something infinite times smaller than Bhagat Singh and his accomplices but the target has been achieved. We all finally came together!

When students win, NSUI wins, the Nation wins... We all win!
I will not waste time comparing the two course structures which delayed admissions and created an academic emergency. It is an ugly chapter in the history of Delhi University. Such situations must be avoided at all costs. Not just because they are a waste of time, money, and resources but because such situations trouble the students and their parents/guardians. They are the ones who suffer the most. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. NSUI gave it all and tried to come up with a solution at the earliest possible date.

Demanding immediate rollback of FYUP, LIVE on Aaj Tak

NSUI never gave up on the FYUP rollback. Our leaders, office holders at State and District Level, members, student volunteers (both new & old) everyone joined the protests. We were dragged, pushed, ignored, and tested. But we fought. And we won a battle which will affect our future greatly. Nobody can trade our future for selfish ambitions. I insist we remain united and turn out in equally large numbers if student rights are violated in future.

Well done everyone! Proud of you all

-Harshad Sharma, State General Secretary, NSUI, Delhi

Udaan 2014, NSUI National Convention, Talkatora Stadium

Udaan 2014 was held at Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi between 6th and 7th March. Being NSUI's National Convention, Udaan saw thousands of NSUI office bearers and elected union representatives converging at one single point to celebrate NSUI's achievements and discuss future prospects.

NSUI National Convention Udaan 2014 at Talkatora Stadium (6-7th March, 2014)

Udaan saw major INC leaders Mr. Rahul Gandhi, Mr. Digvijay Singh, Mr. P Chidambaram,Mr. Ashok Gehlot, Mr. Tarun Gogoi, Ms. Meenakshi Natarajan discussing the challenges facing the youth wing of INC. NSUI's Udaan involved churning of the best brains in order to come out with effective solutions.

The main focus was on Social Media. Mr. Digvijay Singh stressed on the need to involve more and more party as well as NSUI members in social media. He called for an all out approach towards social media and pointed towards the importance and growing significance of social media.

The convention was organized very neatly. The main highlight was of course Mr. Rahul Gandhi who catapulted tremendous joy and excitement into the crowd the moment he entered the stadium on the final day of the national convention. NSUI's Udaan saw NSUI members from across the country participating in the event. Food and refreshments were arranged for the massive crowd. Overall, it was a truly exhilarating experience.

One simply cannot forget the Twitter screen on the stage which kept showing interesting tweets regarding Udaan. NSUI's Udaan was actually trending on Twitter thanks to the endless tweets being posted by NSUI members from all over the country.
